Meet Nadia: Your Guide in Ayurveda, Jyotish, and Energy Healing

My journey into the world of holistic medicine began with establishing a daily meditation practice after reading The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. This practice became a turning point in my life, helping me quiet mental chatter and develop a deeper awareness of my mental patterns.

From there, I was drawn to energy healing and studied Reiki in Colorado near the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. This experience opened the door to the broader field of holistic medicine and led me to the science of Ayurveda.

I went on to study Clinical Ayurvedic Medicine at the California College of Ayurveda. During this time, I was also introduced to Jyotish (Vedic astrology), which added another layer of understanding around karma, timing, and individual constitution. I’ve continued my studies in both Ayurveda and Jyotish, including trainings in Ayurvedic body therapies, pulse reading, and Marma therapy at the Ayurvedic Institute.

My work is rooted in the belief that the body has an innate capacity to return to balance when supported with awareness, appropriate care, and consistent lifestyle adjustments. I am passionate about offering a natural, non-invasive approach to health that emphasizes understanding underlying patterns rather than focusing solely on symptom management.

My approach integrates traditional Ayurvedic wisdom into modern life through lifestyle guidance, therapeutic bodywork, Jyotish (Vedic astrology), and herbal support when appropriate. Each aspect is used to help better understand the individual and the underlying patterns influencing their well-being.

I am drawn to this work because it emphasizes awareness and responsibility in how we relate to our health, offering tools to better understand the ways our daily choices, environment, and inner patterns shape our overall wellbeing.

My work focuses on creating space for clarity and healing to unfold in a grounded and supported way.

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is the traditional medical system of ancient India and is one of the oldest forms of holistic medicine in the world. Ayurveda focuses on root cause analysis and offers a natural approach to managing dis-ease and disharmony in the body and mind by bringing us back to the awareness of our connection with nature.

Just like the cycles of nature, our own natural rhythms are always in motion. When our rhythms fall out of sync with the natural world, Ayurveda provides the road back to balance and union with the cycles of nature with which we are so intimately connected.

Ayurvedic care supports us through natural methods such as lifestyle adjustments, diet, and herbal care. Ayurveda is a living science, so although its teachings are dated back to 5,000-10,000 years ago, they are still relevant in the modern world.
